The Fashionista's Choice

Blaiz of Glory.

It only takes a hint of autumn air to get us excited about a new season of sartorial choices but if there’s one thing we’re refusing to give up this AW18 it’s the spirit of Latin America that served us so well this summer, brimming as it was with sizzling colour clashes, craft-driven textiles and vibrant floral prints. Luckily, Blaiz, a unique concept that sources beautifully crafted products inspired by the vibrant cultures of Latin America, has opened its newest store in Marylebone, following the continued success of its Kings Road flagship store, as well as a much-loved pop-up in the heart of Hampstead.

Founded by Greek-Brazilian financier and Cambridge graduate Stephanie Margaronis Mordehachvili, Blaiz’s razón de ser is exceptional craftsmanship and design, incorporating ready-to-wear women’s clothing, swimwear and accessories, exclusively from top designers and luxury brands across Latin America. And while fast-paced fashion of the Western world might skimp on quality (albeit with hefty price tags), Blaiz maintains its core philosophy of sustainability, supporting the designers they bring to the international market, and ensuring production is kept in-house.

Over 40 innovative labels including Cecilia Prado, Serpui, Marika Vera, Iorane and Schutz are championed by Blaiz, offering customers the best selection of the region’s designers, who remain at the forefront of artisanal fashion techniques. Stephanie tells us: “We are delighted to have opened our second retail location. It’s a window to our flagship store and takes us one step closer to showcasing our beautiful finds to a global audience. I believe in having a strong physical presence for Blaiz, as it makes the shopping experience and the customer knowledge, personal and superior.”

Rare brands

With a fashion industry more saturated than ever, consumers are craving a point of difference and Blaiz’s collection of rare brands offers just that; whether it’s a beautiful crochet knit dress from Cecilia Prado, a covetable sequin jacket from Iorane, or earrings from in-house favourite Rose Khebis.
