We don’t know about you, but we’ve only made it through January with the help of a little pick-me-up facial here, a shoe shopping splurge there, and just about enough fine dining to stave off the new year blues. Without these little treats, we’d be filled with seasonal gloom. Of course, we still have February and March to get through so we say let the treats continue!

Luckily, those clever people at The Conran Shop seem to have read our minds with the launch of the Conran Clinic, an in-store beauty pop-up that centres around keeping new year’s resolutions (OK, we’re talking beauty treats here, not chocolate), as well as gift ideas for Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.

Playing on our vices and virtues, it promises to be a fun, interactive space that will not only showcase Conran’s latest, innovative products, but will give us a break from all that retail therapy we’ve been relying on so heavily of late. Imagine, if you will a serene spa area to relax in, tongue-in-cheek fairground mirrors to transform you from skinny to bulky, and if you don’t like what you see, a wall mounted Technogym with a freestanding cross trainer to get stuck into. We think it’s well worth a visit, not least to pick up those gifts for V-Day, mother, and of course a little winter treat for you, too.

The Conran Clinic will run from February through to late March at The Conran Shop, Chelsea, with elements also found at the Marylebone store.
