Grown Alchemist Skincare London

Tucked into Beak Street’s chic Soho neighbourhood, Grown Alchemist offers more than just a facial; it’s a sanctuary for skincare aficionados and wellness enthusiasts. A new kid on the block, the store opened late last year and is already drawing in skincare-loving shoppers.  On entering, you’re greeted by minimalist interiors, featuring calming, neutral tones and sleek lines that echo the brand’s commitment to simplicity and purity.

As well as the full range of products available on the ground floor, with well-trained and friendly staff available to do a facial analysis and prescribe just the right products, there is a treatment area downstairs offering facials, massages and IV drips.

In need of a post-Christmas pick me up (I ate all the chocolates and drank all the wine), I pop in for a ‘signature regenerator facial’ and hair IV. It’s the first time I’ve had a vitamin IV, so I’m a little unsure of what to expect. This service is offered by a therapist from REVIV, experts in IV procedures, so I know I’m in safe hands.  I’ve chosen one to boost my hair and nail health. This premium infusion combines zinc, biotin (B7), vitamin C, glutathione, N-Acetyl Cysteine and B complex to support locks from the inside out. These carefully selected nutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream via intravenous infusion to aid absorption and efficacy, supporting the body’s ability to maintain hair and promote stronger nails, too. As I lie on the incredibly comfortable heated, sculpted bed, I barely notice the IV drip being inserted (the needle is much finer than say one that’s used for a blood test, which is my only remotely similar experience!). The fact that I’m relaxing into my facial might have something to do with my chilled-out state of mind.

The facial treatment itself is a ritual of relaxation and rejuvenation. Tailored to my skin’s specific needs, my experienced therapist uses Grown Alchemist’s botanically infused products, which are as effective as they are luxurious. From the gentle cleanse to the hydrating mask, each step feels indulgent yet purposeful, leaving my skin glowing and plump. The highlight is the signature massage, stimulating lymphatic drainage while lifting and sculpting the face, using cryotherapy and facial cupping – a true antidote to January back to work blues.

Post-treatment, my skin feels like it’s been on holiday, and the shop’s curated selection of products beckons. Grown Alchemist’s skincare range is a treasure trove of plant-based and science-driven formulations. Standouts include their Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser, a velvety concoction enriched with olive leaf and plantago extract, and the Instant Smoothing Serum, a hyaluronic acid powerhouse that provides an instant hydration boost. Beyond skincare, the shop also stocks body care and hair care lines, offering everything from nourishing hand creams to shampoos that deliver spa-like results at home. Their commitment to sustainability shines through in the eco-friendly packaging and formulations free from harmful chemicals.

Whether you’re treating yourself to a luxurious facial or investing in a high-performance serum, Grown Alchemist on Beak Street is a haven for those who take their self-care seriously. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their skincare game while immersing themselves in an oasis of calm in the heart of bustling Soho.
