Established by Sally and Paul Holbrook, the leisurewear collection includes hand-stitched vests, beaded jackets, and intricately embroidered kaftans and dresses, every piece embroidered with the initials of the artisan who meticulously created it. The couple were driven by a deep respect for authentic craftsmanship and a commitment to ethical trade. “We work with many collectives and organisations that support the local communities.
For example, we’re currently working with a government organised women’s help group in India where women are trained in highly complex skills such as chikan embroidery – it’s absolutely exquisite! We can know that every cent paid for the production of our pieces will go directly to the artisans. It is so important to us to contribute to these local communities and do our part in keeping these inimitable skills alive,” explains Sally.
