This year’s Michelin guide has just landed, and with it, good news for London’s foodies.
No restaurants lost stars this year, and with 10 new stars across the Capital, the city’s total now stands at 70. One of the biggest winners was Mitsuhiro Araki’s rather special The Araki, which scooped two extra stars to become one of just three London restaurants to hold three stars, and the first Japanese restaurant in the UK to hold that accolade. Claude Bosi was awarded two stars for Bibendum, while six restaurants were awarded one star, amongst them Fabric favourites Aquavit, Le Dame de Pic and Jamavar. Ten London restaurants were also awarded Bib Gourmands.
