Treats in a-bun-dance

Hurrah for October – bear with us for a minute here, we know that the clocks are going back and the long cold winter is setting in (though you wouldn’t know it after the last weekend) – because it’s a month to celebrate indulging in the three big Cs. Chocolate Week is a mere fortnight away, Cocktail Week starts in just 10 short days, but before all of that, it’s Cinnamon Bun Week right now. Yes, you heard it here first…

The Capital’s favourite Scandinavian coffee shop, Nordic Bakery, is hosting a week-long celebration of their famous cinnamon buns. Every day this week the menu will feature a limited edition special flavour (think blueberry or chocolate), plus they’ll be serving up their new Cinnamon and Apple Swirl Cake all week, and at the weekend, all of the celebratory flavours will be on offer for fans to choose from. We’ve had a sneaky taste of some of what’s on offer and can promise that you won’t be disappointed.

For all of those sweet-toothed Londoners who stayed up to catch the lunar eclipse last night, we can’t think of a better mid morning pick me up than a tasty sweet treat and a cup of strong Scandinavian coffee. We’ll see you in Golden Square…
