PLANT-BASED DINING: Redefining Meat

After a long, hot summer, it feels like there are more reasons than ever to think about our environmental impact. It’s undeniable that minimising our meat consumption is one way we can make a difference, though, for some, that’s easier said than done. Good news: Powerplant, the new plant-based restaurant at Camden ‘poshtel’ Selina has just announced its partnership with Redefine Meat, the global pioneer of New Meat.

Achieving what has long been considered impossible, Redefine Meat’s products are 100 per cent plant-based, but perfectly mimic the taste and texture of different high-quality meat cuts. Taking the culinary world by storm – Marco Pierre White described the products as “mind-blowing” – the range includes beef and lamb cuts, as well as premium burgers, sausages, lamb kebabs, and ground beef.

The exciting new menu created by Powerplant Camden’s head chef, Lukasz Dawidowicz, includes burger with smashed avocado, Korean-style pulled beef brisket taco and shakshuka with spicy merguez sausage. And there are more exciting dishes planned… Well worth a taste.
