Inspired by Abraham Maslow’s Theory of Human Motivation, the hospitality-centric houses have been designed to enhance the wellbeing of guests and members. Established in 2017, Mortimer House occupies a seven-storey art-deco building situated in the heart of Fitzrovia. Here, you’ll find meticulously designed workspaces, a members’ lounge and a state-of-the-art fitness centre, in addition to Mortimer House Kitchen, the Italian inspired restaurant.
Meanwhile, 1 Warwick is situated in Soho and launched in spring 2023. The house boasts an exquisite rooftop restaurant and terrace, Yasmin, as well as private and communal workspaces, event venues, lounges and a gym. It’s also home to Nessa, the highly praised modern-British restaurant from exec chef Tom Cenci.
And, while most of these facilities are exclusively for members and their guests, the event spaces are available for public hire, and there’s still availability for a thoroughly decadent festive knees up this month. Having previously hosted a string of high-profile celebrity events – from birthdays to post-concert parties – you can be sure that a party thrown by Maslow’s will be the perfect mix of discretion and decadence.
Delicious sharing feasts are available, served in your choice of space, from the Roof Terrace or Drawing Room at 1 Warwick, to the Penthouse at Mortimer House, all of which can be prepared to your exact specifications with a little help from Maslow’s carefully curated list of event partners – think florists and tablescapers. The team can even organise live music acts and photographers to capture your best party moments.
If you’ve already organised your party, give yourself a pat on the back, and turn your attentions to New Year’s Eve. It goes without saying that Maslow’s will be hosting the hottest party in town. Start the night with a feast at Nessa, before heading upstairs to the Big Gay New Year’s Eve Party, in collaboration with JAKE Ldn. A night of guaranteed effervescence, excitement and music, you’ll be treated to resident DJs from Soho Radio, including Laura Pradelska, as well as entertainment from Simon King (Kings Voices / Selfridges Choir).
