GUEST CHEF SERIES: Kitchen Takeovers

September will see a series of exciting culinary talents taking over the kitchen at Kricket in White City. The popular annual chef series is now in its fourth year and will again help to raise vital funds for long-term charity partner Apne Aap Women’s Collective (AAWC). Founded in 1990, AAWC is an anti-trafficking organisation that serves the women in brothel-based prostitution and their children in Asia’s second largest red-light district of Kamathipura, in Mumbai.

Sally Abé (The Pem), Jackson Boxer (Brunswick House and Orasay), Will Murray and Jack Croft (Fallow) and Ben Tish (Cubitt House) will all take part in this year’s series, which will run on Tuesday evenings throughout the month, starting 6 September. Each chef has developed a bespoke menu in collaboration with chef patron Will Bowlby, mixing their own distinctive styles with a taste of India. Priced at £65 per person (with all profits going to AAWC) each menu will include four courses and a welcome drink from the team at SOMA, Will and partner Rik Campbell’s popular Soho cocktail bar.
