May Fair Kitchen

This year sees the hotel’s two seductive spaces – May Fair Kitchen and May Fair Terrace – pulling out all the stops with tempting offers that will give the capital’s loved-up a night to remember. For £75 per person, you and your beloved can enjoy a fabulous four-course Valentine’s Day Menu complete with canapés on arrival and a glass of rosé champagne. Already one of the capital’s most romantic settings, this al fresco space is being transformed for the occasion into a dazzling ‘Enchanted Terrace’. You’ll be invited to pledge your troth surrounded by twinkling fairy lights and candle lanterns, sheepskin-covered swing seats and a glorious garden wall festooned with red roses and trailing ivy.
Les 110 de Taillevent
This Valentine’s Day, transport yourself to France, surely one of the most romantic destinations in the world, with a luxurious six-course menu at London’s Les 110 de Taillevent. This unique wine and food pairing restaurant based in Marylebone offers modern and classic seasonal French dishes, which are executed with precision and enhance the quality of the 110 wines by the glass on offer. Head Chef Raphael Grima has created a six-course set menu guaranteed to excite the senses, priced at £67 and available from the 14th – 18th February, ensuring plenty of time to celebrate, with no excuses!
El Pirata
Spend Valentine’s Day in Mayfair’s most romantic restaurant, El Pirata, the authentic Spanish tapas bar offering a slice of Madrid in the heart of London. El Pirata offers guests a warm, cosy and informal atmosphere, allowing guests to relax and enjoy Head Chef Rosendo Simbana’s unique Spanish-inspired Valentine’s Day menu, priced at £35 per person. The menu includes 11 tasty tapas dishes to share made using the finest quality ingredients, as well as a glass of Cava each. For nearly a quarter of a century El Pirata has been serving authentic tapas, with more than 60 dishes on the menu, and over 140 Spanish wines on the list. Decisions decisions!
Dalloway Terrace
Dalloway Terrace, the picturesque winter hideaway nestled in the heart of Bloomsbury, provides the perfectly intimate setting to enjoy Valentine’s Day with your special someone this year. This elegant and enchanting dining destination invites guests to lose themselves amidst a beautiful canopy of frosted foliage, ferns and pine cones, and indulge in a carefully created Valentine’s Day menu on 14th February for £60 per person, ensuring an idyllic evening of romance.
The Bloomsbury based Dalloway Terrace is named after the eponymous character created by Virginia Woolf, an author whose name will forever be associated with the area. The idyllic terrace has firmly positioned itself as a top dining destination on the London restaurant scene, offering the peace and charm of a secluded frosted cabin complete with hot cocktails and cheese fondue in the winter months and a retractable roof providing the perfect alfresco dining destination in the spring and summer months.
Devonshire Club
For an enchanting evening, one of London’s most luxurious destinations, Devonshire Club, is offering up a romantic three-course dinner from 6pm – 10pm in the extravagant Brasserie this Valentine’s Day. Priced at £40 per person for 2 courses and a glass of Prosecco or £47 per person for 3 courses and a glass of Prosecco, diners can indulge in a selection of delicious dishes including their signature sushi to share, Crispy ox cheek with smoked mash and shallot salad and a gluten-less chocolate mi-cuit all whilst listening to the soft sounds of soulful jazz. For those that want to splurge, the private members’ club is also offering a Valentine’s overnight stay for £219 per person for members and £269 per person for non-members, including the Valentine’s Day menu, a bottle of champagne to enjoy in the room and breakfast the next day. Serge et le Phoque
This Valentine’s Day, Michelin starred Hong Kong restaurant Serge et le Phoque has curated a special ‘Hearts & Minds’ set menu for lunch and dinner at £75 per head, which will run alongside the a la carte offering from Wednesday 14th February until Saturday 17th February. The 5-course menu will include a glass of champagne and offer a number of shared dishes, and will be served in the stunning and very private dining areas.
London Edition
And for those of you who would rather drink cocktails than worry about food, The London EDITION has come up with two cocktail combos to see you through this day of love in style. Both featuring Hendrick’s Orbium, the Oestrogen Cocktail contains pineapple cordial, Chambord and topped with Champagne; The Testosterone Cocktail on the rocks is served with crème de peche and Cocchi Americano with a twist of lemon. Both available exclusively at the Lobby Bar of The London EDITION on the 14th of February.
Quaglinos
Quaglinos will be serving up an exclusive cocktail day menu inspired by the recent royal engagement. Guests can enjoy cocktails such as ‘The Look of Love’ – dedicated to ‘the look of love’ between Harry and Meghan on the announcement of their engagement as well as ‘The Royal Treasure’ and ‘Love Struck’. Ahh.
100 WARDOUR ST
At 100 WARDOUR ST, guests can turn up the heat with lust-inducing cocktails such as ‘Cupid’s Arrow’ – a fiery take on Valentine’s Day, the cocktails includes jalapeno infused tequila, violet liqueur, champagne, hibiscus, lime, and egg white.
Avenue
Love is in the air in St James at Avenue bar and restaurant. From a deliciously foodie experience to a cosy seat at the bar to enjoy some romantic drinks, Avenue has something special to treat a special someone. Enjoy a special set menu for £60 per person, with live music to entertain in the background as you dine. Featuring the explosive influence of modern Asian cuisine fused with a fiery South American twist, guests can start with a spiced tuna tartare followed by gochujang marinated grilled rack of lamb, topped off with a romantic chocolate and black cherry frozen parfait. Providing romantic, soulful music for the evening Lifford Shillingford, one of London’s most in-demand vocalists, will be performing from 7.30 – 9.45pm . Versatile, soulful and charismatic, Lifford’s voice has received critical acclaim and achieved global success. Cocktails include the South American-inspired ‘Venezuelan Lover’, and Asian-influenced ‘Fell in love with a Geisha’.
Aqua Shard
Located on the 31st floor of The Shard, guests can admire the beautiful London skyline as they enjoy aqua shard’s bespoke Valentine’s Day menu. To make the evening even more memorable, the restaurant has partnered with luxury leather goods designers Aspinal of London for one night only. Those who opt for the Valentine’s menu will receive a stylish card holder, in a choice of black or red. And if that’s not enough, an embosser will be on hand throughout the evening to personalise the gifts.
