Inspired by their family’s Domaine Watson vineyard in France, this gin is a blend of tradition and innovation. Distilled in the UK, Renais is crafted from grapes salvaged during the winemaking process, combined with local botanicals and a touch of that distinct French terroir. The result? To celebrate, Renais has crafted a bespoke cocktail – the Crusta Anniversaire. This reimagining of the classic Crusta, once the epitome of opulence, is perfectly suited for a birthday bash. The cocktail pairs the gin’s minerality, citrus and spice with the dry, crisp notes of Champagne, creating a drink that’s both decadent and refreshing.
RECIPE
- 45ml Renais
- 20ml lemon
- 20ml orange Curacao
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 50ml Champagne
- 1 dash angostura bitters
Golden caster sugar and edible glitter for the sugar rim
METHOD
Garnish the glass with a gold encrusted sugar rim made with golden caster sugar and edible glitter | Shake all ingredients apart from the champagne with ice, strain into a coupette glass and top with Champagne.
