Home Sale 77: Hosted by Julia Landes with Lovely Merchants
Wherever you are in north west London, Primrose Hill is but a hop, skip and a jump away, and the trip will be more than worth it, as sustenance is assured from catering experts Spread the Love, who will be serving Christmas treats and mulled wine to flagging shoppers. Covetable Christmas gifts are the order of the day – we’re particularly excited about Julia Landes’ collectable ceramics, the jewellery and organic candles from Pearl and Queenie, homemade chutneys and jams by Alex – queen of chutneys, and Christina Wilson’s beautiful prints and cards. It promises to be the most genteel of shopping experiences, and we’re hoping this will help to tick even more items off our gift list. Plus, it’s the loveliest start to the weekend we can imagine, and with 10 per cent of all sales going to Kids Company, it won’t just be the mulled wine giving you that warm glow.
Friday 29 November, 12.30pm to 7pm, basement, 77 King Henry’s Road, NW3 3QU
The W9 Christmas Sale
Any shopping trip that kicks off with a coffee and a bacon sarnie can’t fail to get off to a good start. Call into the W9 Café at St. Saviour’s Primary School in Little Venice for a quick breakie this Saturday morning before hitting the stalls. Over 30 unique brands will be represented, including Laundry Boutique, who will be selling their divine knitwear, statement jumpers, fabulous furs and coats, and the super talented designer Samantha Morris, whose funky homewares and clever cards will please even the pickiest on your present list. And with the event raising money for the school, there’s reason to feel philanthropic, too.
Saturday 30 November, 10am to 4pm, St. Saviour’s School, Shirland Road, W9 2JD
