According to a new survey by estate agents Chestertons, a garden can boost the value of a London home by a substantial eight per cent, proving the Capital’s house hunters will pay a premium for that all-important outside space. Of course, it comes as no surprise us Londoners are gaga about our gardens and fittingly, Chestertons, who are long-term supporters of the Royal Academy of Arts, have two pairs of tickets to Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse up for grabs. All you need to do is email us with ‘Painting the Modern Garden’ in the subject line and we’ll let you know if you’re a lucky winner!
