So what can we expect? One of the show’s most thrilling features is its indoor driving runway in which classic cars are given the full catwalk treatment as they’re driven up and down for audiences to ooh and ah at. This year sees the Classic Six Nations Shootout, whereby the legendary Lamborghini will team up with Ferraris and Fiats, Lancias and Maseratis in the Italian squad, and will compete with the very finest vehicles from Great Britain, France, Germany, Japan and the USA.
There’ll also be a salute to the ‘greatest car of the 20th Century’ in the form of a unique display celebrating the McLaren F1 and its creator, Gordon Murray. On show will be five fabulous F1s: two standard road cars, two GTR racers, and a long tail F1 GT road car.
And if you’re feeling flush, rare and one-off specials including a Ferrari estate, a Mercedes SL and a GT40 will be looking for new owners at the show, so don’t forget to bring your wallet – you might just come away with your dream classic car.
