POP-UP
Unveiling Saudi Creativity, (handicrafts until June 22nd, fashion pop up open until August 3rd)
Until late summer, Selfridges London is home to a stunning showcase of Saudi artisan talent. Presented by the Saudi Cultural Development Fund in collaboration with Turquoise Mountain – the charity founded by King Charles III – the activation brings together handcrafted works that celebrate Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage. Expect everything from intricate textiles to contemporary pieces shaped by centuries-old techniques, all crafted using sustainable, locally sourced materials. Housed in a specially curated space within the store, the exhibition marks the Kingdom’s Year of Handicrafts 2025 – and offers a rare chance to experience Saudi creativity up close.

FREE EXHIBITION
Nature | Connected, 21-29 June
Granary Square plays host to a truly one-of-a-kind installation this June, as Nature | Connected opens as part of the King’s Cross Super Nature campaign. Created by sound and light artist Natural Symphony (aka Joey Dean), this mesmerising free exhibition invites Londoners to reconnect with the natural world—through the surprising medium of plants.
Running until 29 June, the interactive piece explores our intrinsic bond with nature. Visitors are invited to touch and engage with living plants, whose hidden bio-rhythms are translated into an ambient symphony of real-time sound and light. The result is a dreamy, digital-meets-organic landscape of flickering visuals and responsive audio, with trembling leaves, tapping rain, drifting clouds and birdsong all powered by plant life.
Set against the backdrop of London Climate Action Week, and coinciding with the area’s wider Earthfest programming, Nature | Connected is both a celebration and a call to action, gently reminding us of the beauty and intelligence that surrounds us, if we only slow down enough to listen.
Nature | Connected is free to visit at Granary Square, King’s Cross until 29 June 2025 (Kingscross.co.uk)
INSTALLATION
The Recursion Project, 6-29 June
Step into Melek Zeynep Bulut’s mind-bending new installation at Somerset House, where physics, philosophy, and playful imagination collide. The Recursion Project centres around a striking floating cube, handmade from Turkish terracotta and mirrored surfaces – think reflective kaleidoscopes meeting surreal sculpture. Inspired by the brain-twisting concept of the tesseract (a 4D hypercube), Melek transforms the room into a mesmerising, dreamlike space, echoing Ka a’s Metamorphosis with a dash of whimsy. As shapes repeat infinitely and reflections bounce around, visitors become part of the installation itself – turning observers into the observed.

RESTAURANT POP UP
Wes Anderson Pop-Up
There’s cinematic flair – and then there’s Marseille Bob’s. Bob Bob Ricard’s famously plush Red Room has had a maximalist makeover in honour of The Phoenician Scheme, Wes Anderson’s latest visual feast. Where luxury meets kitsch, the Soho stalwart is leaning into Andersonian eccentricity with pink-edged placemats, bespoke coasters and a sea of white blazers, red carnations and fez hats.
It’s a full-immersion homage to the film’s fictional bar, brought to life with the perfect mix of opulence and oddity. Cocktails are as theatrical as the cast (Benicio! Mia! Cera!): a pipette-dispensed Tycoon on the Rocks shifts hue as you sip, while the Handgranade offers a bitter white Negroni with explosive charm.
Even the snacks are scene-stealers – smoked Cantabrian anchovies with butter and brown bread, and salted pretzels served in silver. Of course, the famous Press for Champagne button remains, but you’ll want to stay for the mise en scène.

Noah Valentine and Corinna Brown lead the charge in a production packed with big feelings, bold ideas and serious heart. Expect an electric mix of love, loyalty, and social tension, all played out under the stars. Perfect!

West End star Hadley Fraser heads to Cadogan Hall this June for a special live concert to launch his upcoming album, Things That Come and Go. He’ll be joined by Rosalie Craig, Natalie May Paris and Maiya Quansah-Breed for an evening that promises fresh material – and a few musical theatre favourites thrown in for good measure.
